Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is incorporated into the Temprix Terms of Service by reference (see Acceptable use). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. In this AUP, “you” means the Customer and each of its Members.
This AUP describes what Customers and Members are prohibited from doing with the Service. It exists to protect Temprix, other Customers, and the integrity of the Service.
Prohibited uses
You may not:
Result in immediate suspension (per Termination — breaches that are serious or unlawful, or that pose a risk to the security or integrity of the Service):
- Use the Service to store, transmit, or process illegal or infringing content, or content containing viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Attempt to access another Customer’s Workspace or data without authorization;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent its security or authentication measures, without Temprix’s prior written authorization;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service, including by imposing an unreasonable load on its infrastructure;
- Impersonate Temprix, or another Customer or individual.
Subject to the standard cure period (per Termination), unless a particular instance is otherwise serious or unlawful:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or use automated means to extract data from the Service beyond what is expressly permitted through the API or in writing;
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without Temprix’s prior written permission;
- Use the Service to covertly monitor employees or other individuals without the consultation, notice, or approval required under applicable employment or data protection law (for example, works council approval under Dutch law);
- Share a Member’s account credentials among multiple individuals, or otherwise misrepresent the number of individuals using a Workspace, to avoid per-Member Fees;
- Circumvent Free Plan limits or usage limits (including API rate limits), including by creating additional or successive Workspaces to evade the Active Member Limit;
- Use the Service’s invitation or notification features to send unsolicited or deceptive communications (spam).
This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. Temprix may treat other conduct that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or harmful to the Service, other Customers, or third parties as a violation of this AUP.
Enforcement
Violations of this AUP are governed by Termination of the Terms of Service, which sets out Temprix’s suspension, cure period, and termination mechanics. The tiers above indicate how Temprix generally categorizes a violation; they do not limit Temprix’s judgment where the facts of a specific case warrant a different response. Fees are non-refundable for any termination resulting from a violation of this AUP.
Namespace reclamation
Independent of any suspension or termination, Temprix may modify, reclaim, or reassign a Workspace’s namespace in the circumstances described in Account and workspace of the Terms of Service. Illustrative circumstances include trademark disputes, naming collisions or confusion between Workspaces, impersonation, offensive or inappropriate content, and security concerns — but Temprix is not limited to these examples. Temprix will make reasonable efforts to notify the Customer before doing so, except where immediate action is necessary for security or legal reasons.
Reporting abuse
To report a suspected violation of this AUP, contact report@temprix.app.
Changes to this policy
Temprix may update this AUP from time to time. For material changes, Temprix will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email to the Workspace Owner, consistent with Changes to these terms of the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
