Teams

Teams group members for timeline filtering, capacity calculations, and reports. Most workspaces organize around functional teams — support tiers, ops squads, or regional groups.

  1. Go to Settings → Teams.
  2. Click Create team.
  3. Enter a team name and optional description.
  4. Add members from the workspace roster.

A member can belong to multiple teams. Their events count toward each team’s capacity total.

Assign members from Settings → Teams → [Team name] → Members. Removing a member from a team does not remove them from the workspace — they remain a member but no longer appear in that team’s views and reports.

Teams can override workspace-level event categories and types:

  • Team-specific categories — apply only to members of that team
  • Team-specific types — inherit from a team or workspace category with team-local defaults

Use team-scoped configuration when different teams need different event structures (e.g., a support team with on-call types that an ops team doesn’t use).

From Settings → Teams → [Team name]:

  • Rename or archive the team
  • Manage membership
  • Configure team-scoped event categories and types
